Hampden Library is located in the Hampden Hall and Community Centre on London Street in Hampden, North Otago, New Zealand.
The original collection of books formed part of the Hampden Mechanics Institute Library established in the town around 1880.
Today we have our basic collection plus regular additions and top-ups from the Oamaru Public Library in Oamaru, and we are part of the District's library network of 'Waitaki Public Libraries'.
We also have jigsaws, VHS tapes and DVDs.
